1997 Alliance acquires Neptune International of Everett, Washington establishing a USA subsidiary for AMI.
1996 Alliance launches hi-tech Rubber Safety mining boot “Miner 49’er” achieving 60% market share in first year.
1995 MIK sells Yaletown warehouse and purchases Head office 45,000 sq ft. warehouse distribution center in Burnaby BC.
1994 Alliance achieves multiple milestones in market share; Rubber gloves 75%; Rubber Safety Chainsaw boots 65%; Lint Rollers and Brushes 85%.
1992 MIK buys 3 acre, 22,000 sq.ft. warehouse in St. Eustache Quebec establishing its home base for Eastern Distribution.
1988 Alliance and Helmac products form a joint venture for the Lint roller/garment care business in Canada .
1986 Alliance achieves first milestone in market share with over 55% of Canadian retail rubber glove distribution.
1984 Alliance opens its first Eastern Distribution center in Montreal, and establishes its Eastern Sales Office.
1983 Alliance acquires the Viking trademark from the Miner Rubber Company, and opens relationship with rubber boot pioneering company Viking Askim of Malaysia.
1982 Alliance changes its name for the last time to Alliance Mercantile Inc.
1980 MIK Industries buys 45,000 sq ft warehouse in Yaletown, Vancouver.
1975 Alliance (Western) Sales Ltd. Changes Corporate name to Alliance International Sales Ltd. To reflect its growth across Canada and Western USA.
1960 Alliance and Ansell begin their exclusive Household Rubber Glove Association.
1959 MIK Industries forms Alliance (Western) Sales Ltd. as an importing/distribution company.
